Cedric Corera
President & CEO

As President & CEO, Mr. Corera is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of Venteon. Venteon is a professional services search, staffing, and consulting firm with three primary Divisions: Venteon Finance, Venteon Technical, and Venteon Partners. Since Co-Founding Venteon in 2002, Mr. Corera has spent much of his time developing each new business line that Venteon has established over the last several years. In addition, Mr. Corera has been a key leader in establishing Venteon as one of the fastest growing privately-held professional staffing and consulting firms in the United States.
Prior to entering the recruiting profession, Mr. Corera spent 6 years working in accounting for both a CPA firm as well as a large Fortune 500 company located in Michigan. Mr. Corera began his recruiting career in October 1996 with Ajilon Finance, where, in his first year, he earned the prestigious "Rookie of the Year" Award from this international firm. In addition, Mr. Corera received several awards for being a "Superstar" performer and was a member of the company's distinguished "Presidents Club." He progressed rapidly within the organization, holding the position of Division Manager and finally Regional Director.
Mr. Corera received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University, as well as his Masters from Walsh College.
Karl Roehrig
Executive Vice President & COO

As Executive Vice President & COO, Mr. Roehrig is responsible for risk management, benefits administration, and employee training and development. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Roehrig oversees Venteon's Finance Division, which encompasses both direct and contract placement of accounting and finance professionals. Since Co-Founding Venteon in 2002, Mr. Roehrig has been instrumental in driving the growth of Venteon Finance as well as being a key leader in developing the strategic direction of the Company.
Prior to entering the recruiting profession, Mr. Roehrig worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Financial Advisory Services Division. Following his tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Roehrig worked for a large tier-one automotive manufacturer as their Corporate Treasury Manager. After deciding to leave corporate finance Mr. Roehrig entered the recruiting profession with Ajilon Finance, a leading publicly-held executive search firm. While at Ajilon Mr. Roehrig earned numerous awards for top performance, including "Rookie of the Year" and "President's Club". He was promoted to the position of Division Manager, and held that position until leaving the organization.
Mr. Roehrig received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Michigan State University, as well as his Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University.
Jeanette Sant
Controller

As Controller for Venteon Holdings, Ms. Sant reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for the day to day financial reporting of Venteon and all of its affiliated entities. This includes monthly, quarterly, and annual internal reporting at divisional and consolidated levels, and external reporting to Venteon's senior lender and working with Venteon's outside public accounting firm in the compilation and issuance of annual financial statements. In addition, Ms. Sant is responsible for cash management, as well as overseeing all accounting functions relating to payroll, sales commissions, fixed asset reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Ms. Sant has worked in the field of accounting for over 25 years. After graduating from college, she worked for Bechtel, one of the world's largest engineering and construction firms. Ms. Sant then moved into the public accounting sector, working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and subsequently working for a property management firm during the firm's IPO. She was an independent consultant for eight years, providing accounting services to small companies, before joining the Venteon Team.
Ms. Sant received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Chapman University, located in Southern California. She attended Chapman on an academic scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Ms. Sant is a Certified Public Accountant.
Rachelle Winter
Senior Manager of HR & Administration

As Senior Manager of Administration, Ms. Winter is responsible for overseeing the back office operations of Venteon, including acting as a liaison with the contract employees regarding payroll, benefits administration, and general assignment questions. In addition to overseeing the administrative team, Ms. Winter reports directly to the CEO and COO to consistently provide the best service for Venteon's, internal and contract employees, and it's customers.
Ms. Winter began her career in the industry as a recruiter working within the administrative staffing arena. She then went on to spend 4 years with a national recruiting firm, where she worked her way up to become a Manager, recruiting and selling within their accounting and finance practice. Next, Ms. Winter worked for a local retained search firm for 6 years, supporting the back office functions for the CEO. After that she moved to Venteon, where she has been the recipient of the “President's Award” for her outstanding dedication and service within the company.
Ms. Winter received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resource Management, from Oakland University.
Bob Michalak
Vice President - Venteon Finance • Search Practice • Detroit Market

As Vice President of Venteon Finance's Search Practice, Mr. Michalak is responsible for overseeing the direct placement of all accounting, finance, tax, and treasury professionals. This includes all new business development, candidate recruiting, staff development, training, and existing account management. In addition to the above responsibilities, Mr. Michalak is responsible for running an active desk and has been Venteon's top producer since joining the organization.
Prior to entering the recruiting profession, Mr. Michalak began his career in accounting, working for Plante & Moran, one of the largest regional public accounting firms in the country, where he earned his CPA. After 4 years in public accounting, Mr. Michalak spent 4 years at a national recruiting firm, where he earned "Rookie of the Year" honors and was the top producer 2 years in a row. Mr. Michalak then left recruiting to take on a business development role with Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and strategic advisor. Upon leaving Marsh he joined Venteon.
Mr. Michalak received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Oakland University, where he attended on a baseball scholarship. Mr. Michalak is a Certified Public Accountant.
Scott Foley
Vice President • Venteon Finance • Minneapolis Market

As Vice President in the Venteon Finance Division, Mr. Foley is responsible for the overall leadership of Venteon's Finance Division in the Minneapolis market for both the Executive Search and Staffing Practices. These divisions specialize in placing accounting and finance professionals in direct hire and contract positions.
Prior to joining Venteon, Mr. Foley started his career in recruiting with Ajilon Finance in 1999. He began as an Account Manager, where he received "Superstar" status in his first year and was part of one of the most successful start-ups in company history. Mr. Foley moved to the Executive Search side of the business in 2002, where he finished 2nd amongst all Rookies in the company. In 2003 he was promoted to Branch Manager, and began a progressive management track to Regional Vice President before leaving in 2007. During his tenure at Ajilon Finance, Mr. Foley was a five time "Superstar" performer, and received numerous awards for individual performance. After leaving Ajilon in 2007, Mr. Foley joined an Indianapolis based firm, where he was responsible for building their Executive Search practice.
Mr. Foley received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
Ben Kohns
Director • Venteon Finance • Staffing Practice • Detroit Market

As Manager of the Venteon Finance's Staffing Practice, Mr. Kohns is responsible for the leadership of the Detroit market's contract and contract-to-permanent staffing.
Mr. Kohns began his career in public education before making the move into the accounting field. Following eight years in accounting for a non-profit entity in Lansing, Michigan, he entered the recruiting profession. Mr. Kohns spent four years developing his recruiting and business development skills for Robert Half International's Accountemps Division in the Lansing market before joining Harvard Accounting & Finance in 2007. Harvard joined forces with Venteon in November of 2009, and he was promoted to Manager of the Staffing Practice in October 2010. Mr. Kohns is a top 5 producer within the Company and has won several awards for his production and leadership.
Mr. Kohns holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University.
Brad Smiles
Vice President • Venteon Technical • Staffing Practice • Detroit Market

As Vice President of Venteon Technical's Staffing Practice, Mr. Smiles is responsible for overseeing the Technical Staffing Practice including new business development, managing the recruiting staff, and maintaining relationships with contract employees and clients. This Division specializes in the recruitment & placement of engineers, designers, technicians, and other technical professionals with clients throughout the Midwest.
Mr. Smiles began his career in the staffing industry with Allegis Group (Aerotek), working there for 10 years. While with Allegis Group, Mr. Smiles was responsible for business development and recruitment of technical professionals for the automotive industry in the metro Detroit area. He was responsible for opening a new office in Livonia, Michigan and also spent two years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin establishing a new division for Allegis Group. Mr. Smiles was the first six-time sales contest winner; a President's Club member; and also awarded the prestigious "Classic Aerotek" award in 1997. After leaving Allegis Group, Mr. Smiles spent 2 years at Ford Motor Company developing and managing a recruiting project between the UAW and various Ford manufacturing plants. He then returned to the staffing industry when he started as the Sales Manager for Venteon Technical and was promoted one year later to the Director of Sales & Recruiting. He is now a Vice President of the Division.
Mr. Smiles received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Management from Albion College as well as his Master of Business Administration from Oakland University. Mr. Smiles is also a Certified Technical Staffing specialist from the National Association of Personnel Services.
Tim Pobuda
Partner and Manager • Venteon Technical • Search Practice

As a Partner and Manager of Venteon's Technical Search Practice, Mr. Pobuda is responsible for managing the recruiting staff and overseeing the direct placement of all Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales professionals. This includes all new business development, candidate recruitment, staff development, and account management. Venteon's Technical Division actively places professionals in the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Solar and Consumer Products industries throughout the Midwest. Mr. Pobuda s has been consistently recognized as a top producer by Venteon and earned the prestigious Arrowhead Club Award in 2011.
Mr. Pobuda began his career in the industry as a recruiter with Aim Executive which was eventually purchased by the Spherion Group and rebranded to Mergis. During his 20 year career with Mergis' Technical Search practice, Mr. Pobuda received numerous award for being a top producer and earned ten consecutive Performance Forum Awards. He believes in developing long lasting relationships with clients and candidates who expect a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Mr. Pobuda received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Kalamazoo College and earned a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership, with a specialty in Training and Development from Western Michigan University. Mr. Pobuda is a Certified Personnel Consultant.
Mark Case
Director • Venteon Partners • Information Technology Practice

As Director of Venteon Partners Information Technology Practice, Mr. Case is responsible for overseeing the Information Technology practice including new business development, managing the recruiting staff and maintaining relationships with our consulting staff and clients. The Division specializes in the talent acquisition of CTO's, Project Managers, Program Managers, Business Analysts, Web Developers, Networking professionals, Windows professionals, UI/UX resources, Mobile Developers, DBA's and Front/Backend Developers. We provide these resources for contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire staffing needs.
Mr. Case began his career in the staffing industry with TEKsystems in 1995. While at TEKsystems Mr. Case was a three time sales contest winner and was an intrical part of an office that ranked in the top ten out of 200 offices nationally. Mr. Case moved on to start up the Southeast Michigan office for another technical staffing firm. He was the fourth employee hired by the company and in a short period of time helped the company become one the fastest growing staffing agencies in Metro Detroit. In 2004 Mr. Case joined Variant Partners an MRI Company and in 2007 started the Detroit office of Vaco Technology. Mr. Case is now the Director of the Information Technology Practice for Venteon Partners.
Mr. Case received his Bachelors of Business Administration and Minor in Communications from Ferris State University.
